This year the Chargers have been all about the Offense, and an All out Airial attack at that. Jackson and Floyd on the outside, Sproles and LT or Tolbert out of the back field, and Gates up the middle. HUGE. is the word to describe it. The run game has been subpar, although they consistently stick with it in games in order to keep the opposing team true to trying to stop it. Plus the short passing game to the RBs is really an extension of the run game. Only in with the return of Hardwick in the 15th game did the line start to open some serious holes, but the offense is too tuned to the pass by now. Why not? With Rivers coming into his own, Jackson maturing (at least on the field), Gates back to form, and the explosive Sproles as an outlet. It's a great offense to watch when they're clicking which is most of the time.
This team is set up to make a run, and they really really need to. AJ is going to be so busy this off season it will be nuts. Plus with the exposure the Chargers are getting plus the lack of a salary Cap next season... I almost think out starting wide outs next year could be Legadu and Buster. I'm not kidding.
So let's beat those Jets, then whoever we meet next... Lets go get that 32nd Pick!!!

Chargers - Never give up, Never Surrender...
Ok time for my first Sports related posting. I'm from SD and when I started watching football in 7th Grade I followed Roger Craig and the 49ers, but soon fell in love with the Bolts despite the fact that they were a poor football team. They had a Power Back named Marion Butts who while he ran for 4 or 5 1,000 yard seasons had a pretty short career. I remember in 94' the Chargers go to thier first SuperBowl only to get killed by the 49ers...tough week.
Fast forward to this year.. Big expectations in the Pre-Season. Then a Horrible start of the season and a Bad middle. 4-8 Chargers holding onto the last rung of Playoff Hope. Broncos loose the next 3, Chargers win the next 3. Last game of the Season beat the Broncos and your in. Chargers play the Best Game of thier Season 50+ points on the board.
Now a tremendous win over the Colts. LT can only go for a short time, Darren Sproles all 5'7 of him plays HUGE. Despite a couple of turnovers, one on the Two. Chargers are able to tie the game with a short field Goal. Win the toss and drive down and win with a 20 yard Sproles TD Run.
Defense played Huge, playing games with Manning pre snap by showing multiple fronts. Most games are played from snap to whistle. This one was played from when you came up to the Ball to the Whistle. INTENSE!
Best Punter in the League has a HUGE, HUGE game as well. Field Position was gigantic.
Getting to the Super Bowl and winning it is a total possibility. None of the teams in the Playoffs scare me or look unbeatable to how the Chargers are Playing now. It's gonna be a fight, and they might not make it, but it can totally happen.

Global Warming - Can't you People Read?
Does Global Warming Exist? Of course it does.
I think most of us can agree on that, except of course for those conservatives who believe the nothing of what they can't see. Those people generally believe things like, there is no danger of an Avalanche until they are under six feet of snow. Frankly I have little time for these people. However there is more to this issue than does it exist. Who is to blame? Us or those darn little Beavers, or Cows (do you know how much Methane can be produced from Cow droppings? Not to mention all the Grass they eat...Bad Carbon Dioxide Footprint), or some other thing out there...
When you look at the evidence out there, I say it points to our contribution to the effect to exist but hardly be one of the main contributing factor. To put it simply, sure we're helping to fill up the tub with water, but our shot glass contribution doesn't stack up to the Bucket that Nature has. So even if we reverse our trend and start taking water out of the tub with our shot glass, that bucket that Nature is adding is still gonna beat us out.
How can I say this? Here's my answer folks..... x^2 (or X squared).
There are systems in nature that contribute CO2 to the atomsphere that exponential, in other words they build on themselves. Kinda of like rolling a snow ball down a hill. Stop it early it's pretty small. Stop it at the bottom of the hill and it's a gigantic ball of Snowy Doom.
Of course to me the biggest Evidence out there is the fact that when they look at the history of the Planet (using fossil records etc...) They see the Planet has gone thru this Global Warming Cycle 7 or 8 times. Yes that's right folks It's happend before, Again and again and again and well hopefully you get the picture. I mean really are we that egotistical that we think Global Warming only happens because of us Humans? Nope sorry folks we just aren't that big of an issue when it comes to this Planet.
So Does Global Warming Exist? Yes. Are we to Blame? Not really, I don't think we're slowing it down, but I don't really see us speeding it up that much. So can we stop it? Nope. So this leads me to what we should be doing... Can we survive it?
I only wish this Climatologists were accurate to any good degree when it comes to prediction, but really let's face facts they ain't. So may I be the first to reserve my spot in the Arctic hotel. Cause for those in the know Global Warming causes an Ice age...how's that for crazy...

What we have here is Failure to Communicate...
Ok so another blog is born. Why you ask? Because the storage space is there and we must use it! Nah, I like so many others here in cyber space want some place where we can pontificate upon our opinions of fact, fiction, and so-so reality. In this Blog you will see various Political opinions, Sports commentary (Mostly on the Chargers, Cal Bears, and Padres), Rants on how little people understand Modern Technology, MMOs, and if it gets that far answering peoples questions on said subjects. I suppose I will occasionally post video or pictures of soem crap, but most likely you will be limited to text, lots and lots of text.
